SUPERHEROES STEP-THROUGH CHALLENGE

Only 3 of us turned up on the step throughs

And only 1 in fancy dress. A poor show chaps, but we still managed to raise over £500 for Help for Heroes.

The first and only breakdown was in Maidenhead on the way to the ferry. Luckily it wasn`t a sign of things to come.

The 3 x Cubs had a spares van following driven by Monkey Boy Hammond, but luckily, he wasn`t needed. We stayed off the N roads and Autoroutes and went down via some cracking rural roads.

The camp site was the usual splendid affair of home made bars and cheap French beer and Vodka from the Carrefour.

The Road party gaylords turned up on Friday afternoon by which time we were already shite faced.

Monkey Boy had his first ride on a bike. He fell off and the Cub bit him. He now has as perfect brake pedal shaped scar the lucky git.

Captain crashed his cub into a tree whilst on a midnight trip around the camp site....the sidecar didn`t help.

The Cub crew left Sunday for an overnight stop up near Caen and then an early Monday ferry. Not a bad way of doing it to be honest.

Going on the cubs was a real laugh and we`ll be doing the same next year, with more than 3 of us I hope.
